The act of acknowledging and releasing transgressions or wrongdoings that have been committed against us. It involves letting go of feelings of anger, resentment, or desire for revenge and choosing to move forward with a sense of compassion, understanding, and inner peace. Forgiveness is a process of freeing oneself from the emotional burdens and negative effects of past hurts, allowing healing and personal growth to take place. It does not necessarily mean condoning or forgetting the actions that caused harm, but rather choosing to release the grip of those experiences on our own well-being and choosing a path of emotional liberation and inner freedom.
